Kevin’s Story
Kevin Geraghty was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2022. He was experiencing muscle weakness/atrophy in his right arm and body twitches. This diagnosis came 6 weeks after his 40th birthday.
Prior to this diagnosis, Kevin and his wife, Tessa, enjoyed a wonderful life full of friends, family, travel, and their favorite hobby: golf. They were undergoing In Vitro Fertilization in an attempt to start a family and were both highly motivated in their careers and lives.
“Immediately after accepting the diagnosis, I made a vow that I would fight this with everything that I have. I will not stop throwing punches in my effort to END ALS” ~ Kevin Geraghty
“ALS has changed the way we look at life. It is one of the worst possible diagnoses we could receive, yet it’s made us appreciate each and every day we get to live. Every person is living with a terminal illness….we just have a better idea of the boundaries of ours”. ~ Tessa Geraghty
